Annie MacManus (Annie Mac), born July 18, 1978 in Dublin, is a BBC Radio 1 DJ based in London. She hosts a Friday night show (7-9pm) reaching over a million listeners. From a musical family, she discovered clubbing at Queens University Belfast, studied English Literature, then earned a Masters in radio. She joined BBC at 23, got her own show at 26 in 2004. Known for her "Annie Mac Presents" brand, she's a top club/festival DJ championing bass-driven dance music across genres.
