Martin Abrahamsson aka Bauri, operating out of Malmö, Sweden, got into electronic music as a teenager in the mid 90ies. Fueled by the eclectic output of legendary Swedish radio show P3 Dans and MTV's late night alternative shows, he started producing his own music at age 15. His various projects and collaborations - most notably the quirky Donk Boys duo (with Thomas Jaldemark) and harder techno excursions with Nihad Tule (on Drumcode LTD, Random Island and Sloboda) - has since his debut in 1999 added up to a fair amount of albums and eps. "Att gräva i technons fantastiska värld, det är bland det bästa jag vet. Spelar nytt och gammalt på vinyl, gärna smutsiga bortglömda låtar" - Bauri Bauri is inspired by old school Cari Lekebusch, Aphex Twin, Autechre, Neil Landstrumm, Djax-Up-Beats, Daniel Bell, Tupilaq, Gesloten Cirkel and his friends. On a personal level, he enjoys kladdkaka, pizza, bad movies and collecting records and lamps.
