Blaise was born in 1973. As a very young boy, he took an avid interest in Black Music. He bought his first vinyls and Technics turntables thanks to his first wages as an apprentice in hospitality. He quickly turned his room into a real nightclub, influenced at his beginnings by Soul Music, P Funk, Jazz Funk and Hip Hop. In the early 90s, he spent his first nights at Boy , at Palace’s and at Memorie’s. He also made his own tape-recordings based on radios that used to broadcast artists such as Joe Smooth (Promise Land), Lil Louis (French Kiss), Inner City (Good Life et Big Fun), Kraze (The Party) and Reese (Rock To The Beat). The mix of those experiences led him to the House of Chicago, the Techno Music of Detroit and the must listen record of 808 State. At that time, he used to spend most of his leisure time wandering in the Parisian record shops, such as Rough Trade and Bpm Records, but also in the shops in London. Later on, he started his career as a DJ, mixing at What’s Up Bar, at the Fabrique-Bastille and at Café du Trésor. He got new residencies at the Bus Palladium for the famous Electrochoc parties, at the Queen and at Studio 287 for its famous parties called The Sound. Thanks to those numerous experiences, he shared turntables with many international DJs such as Kevin Saunderson, Dj Pierre, Green Velvet, K.O.T., Marshall Jefferson, Johnny Fiasco, Mike Grant, Paul Johnson, John Aquaviva and Josh Wink. Then, at night, he became a resident DJ of the Wagg and of the Infunkwetrust party at the Scène Bastille. During the day, he worked as a record dealer at Syncrophone, which is still considered as one of the best vinyls shops in Europe. Today, Blaise is a major DJ of the Parisian scene. Being a passionate, big-hearted artist, he loves passing on his knowledge to other musicians. He regularly mixes in the best clubs and nights in the French capital - Batofar, Rex Club Djoon, Machine Du Moulin Rouge, the 12 parties, and the Blocs. Striving to stay as close as possible to his roots to Black Music, he proposes a kind of music which is a mix of Underground, House and Techno Groove.
