Chris Gee raised up by physical format DJs. Hooked on the first kick drum from the age of thirteen years young. Working throughout school summer holidays and half terms labouring and spending his hard earned cash on vinyls. The Passion ran deep with such meaning and clarity, now even richer fifteen years on. Chris Gee’s purpose is to put some funk in your soul and share the good vibrations. Attuned to rhythm and changes in sessions he has a unique way of rolling with them with a voluminous collection of wax and cultures. To explore is to experience and to experience is everything. The sound of Africa is trickling through Chris Gee's DJ sets. From hip hop-house bumps to garage-techno thumps with a positive feeling. Having lived in the town called London for three years, Chris has experienced some of the best sound systems that the capital has to offer. Having played in venues including: Peanut Factory, XOYO, 93 Feeteast, Big Chill, The Metal Works, Hidden, Horse & Groom, The Red Gallery and The Star of Bethnal Green. Being the travelling man that he is, he becomes the real Gee in the wild, showcasing his craft at festivals such as Glastonbury, Wilderness, Eastern Electrics, Love Music Hate Racism, Guilfest & One Love.
