Biography of Freaky Disco Freaky disco is more than just a couple of DJ’s/ producers, it is an establishment. Its founder member has been involved in the underground dance scene for over 23 years since the dawn of the house movement. In 1995 Freaky Disco was born as an event for like minded people wanting to come together to experience new music. Beginning its life as secret underground parties held in some of the strangest surroundings you could imagine, they soon caught the imagination of serious revellers with their combination of experimental undergrounds beats and sublime sound systems. With these ingredients Freaky Disco soon became hosts to some of the most talked about venues in the world including; Ministry of Sound, Bagleys, Hanover Grand, Café de Paris, Turnmills, Heaven, The Cross and Egg they have also performed on the international circuit in various countries such as India, Ibiza, Spain, Holland and South America . Freaky Disco now consists of 2 DJ’s/ Producers Robin EE & Tony Nunn who have been captivating the minds of the modern party goer with their intuitive selection of deep underground grooves and techy beats, With their ability to perform seamless journey sets and their notorious live collaborations with Award winning vocalist Deeizm, they have gained the mutual respect of some of the most influential figures in the scene and have earned a place at some of the best events in and around London such as Muak, Cubism and the Infamous Wiggle parties. With their production going from strength to strength and their studio collaborations with renowned D&B producer TMS 1 they have had several releases on labels such as Is This, Kitsam, Cubism, Wiggle, Exun and SP Recordings that have seen remixes and support from artists such as Terry Francis, Eddie Richards, Nathan Coles, Corrie, Loco Dice, Arnuad Le Texier, Richie Hawtin, Marco Carola, Luciano, David Squillace, Cesar Merveille, Tom Budden & Carlos Francisco. With their passion for new music still burning strong and further releases lined up on various labels Freaky Disco look set for another decade pushing the frontiers of underground house music.
