With recent releases and remixes on various labels such as Get Physical, Tirk, Loungin', Brownswood, Wah Wah 45s, First Word, Body Work and their own LPZ Records, the production unit known as LPZ have been recently described as Latin America's hottest export since Gisele Bundchen. And even though pretty much everyone is a fan of the Brazilian model it's easy to see why the Paraguayan trio has build such a reputation gaining support from the likes of Groove Armada, Maya Jane Coles, Mr Scruff, Sinden, Gilles Peterson and Toddla T with their soulful music, that's been making waves in the dance music scene since their remix of Morten Sorensen's Burn Down on Tirk. It doesn't end with the beat-making. LPZ are also prolific on the UK/European/Latin American DJ scene playing soulful underground music from House to the future side of Bass Music,having recently DJed and played live at Panorama Bar in Berlin, Nightshift in NYC and the Jesus Club in St Petersburg.Their sets have been described as journeys from different eras of dance music, using not just the latest hot dance productions but also looking at the past for reminders of great pieces of music that influence their own output.
