Ranked #19 Dj in Puerto Rico (The DJ List) Josué Oliveras (Minos) is an ethusiastic DJ/Producer from the island of Puerto Rico who is taking the local house scene by storm. Before the Effect As part of his musical foundations, Minos is fluid in the art of guitar playing and musical production. He composed and arranged the following tracks for the alternative driven rock band “Calidoscopio”: the pop punk anthem “Tal Vez”, as featured in “Mundo Pop: Lo Mejor del Pop Rock independiente Vol.1 (2008)”, as well as the the sentimental ballad “Sin ti” featured in the “Armonía Ligera EP (2012)”, in which he is also credited for recording and arranging several guitar tracks. His carreer as a DJ (Joel Shine) started around the year 2009, playing energetic and out of this world Tech House tunes at small clubs in Puerto Rico, including the beautiful Old San Juan to the sexy and vibrant Condado area. By the year 2010 his talent as a DJ is recognized by a premier booking agent named Billy Samuel (The Rabbit Hole) who then books him in various venues including the popular Club Kronos (San Juan, PR) in which Minos opened for New York based grindhouse duo Designer Drugs. The Minos Effect As of 2012 Minos is ranked #19 Dj (the Dj List) in Puerto Rico, an incredible motivation to keep banging the house scene and producing new music, including several bootleg remixes and a Podcast cleverly named The Minos Effect, redefining the concept of P-A-R-T-Y to a whole new level.
