PIERCE is all about the soul. He cares about development, building tension and ambitions: "You are allowed to mess with your idols", the perfectionist says. Meanwhile, he sums up a large amount of technical knowledge and a lot of precious experiences, collected on a lifetrip, leading him thru different facets of music, from classic to hiphop. Since he discovered electronic music, his position is clear. He found his homebase in the lovely city of Cologne, not even thinking about moving to Berlin or another country, like many other musicians do these days. "Cologne has its own potential. I´m totally with this city, this is where my roots are." His profession, the trade of a producer and DJ, is a field he masters par excellence. The only situation in a club he´s not really fitting in, is (as he puts it himself), to visit the venue as a common guest: He needs to release the passion he´s filled with in the booth, being a part of the event, serving the crowd with an attentive prepared soundpool. At every gig, PIERCE grabs the place´s individual atmosphere, the mood inside the club and reflects it with his own set. As host and founder of the weekly aired radioshow "MEDICSTATION", PIERCE is able to present his personal preferences to a large audience. Together with his mate Markus Wesen, he introduces new tracks, co-forms opinions, shows alternatives and teases music, that maybe will be recognized in the scene much later … Futuremusic? His latest accomplishment is the license-receive for "Ableton Certified Trainer", which only a handful of people all over germany call their own by now. This is a further level for him, achieved thru his engagement as workshop-host and technical innovator. Is PIERCE a multifunctional product? Well, at least an exceptional appearance. And a little bit cologne - in every track, at every gig.
