QIX

Ber aka Qix is a master fiddler of vintage machines of all types, passionate of electronic and experimental music as well as new technologies. Evolving principally in the “underground” scene, he sets on fire the dance floors of mix and live sets hard tekno with a touch of old school acid. BeatMaker and Sound Designer, Qix composes for different types of supports, therefore widening his musical range : Vvinyl’s, Mix CDs and livsets but also original soundtracks of films, DVD recordings and web-site sound effects. His musical universe, influenced originally by the MegaDemo of Hakers on Amiga 500, then by the famous “Spiral Tribes” and even “Dave Tipper,” has not ceased to evolve leaving place to eclectic and energy blasting productions. In 2009, he participated in the founding of the collective "DistroPunX" which specializes in the organization of innovative events in Marseille combining electronic music, video mapping, and unusual stage performances. Where he played mesmerizing and hypnotic techno / electro techno mixes. In 2015, he co-created the "Dive In Records" label, oriented Techno / Deep Techno's, promoting new local talents, then he left the presidency in 2017 to focus on his new Research & Sound Design company "ID-Entity ". "ID-Entity" is dedicated to the development of different technological and artistic projects. His new label, "Knock Noise Records", will release some Acid / Hard Techno productions in the original underground spirit of free parties, as well as Techno, Deep Techno and Break productions.
