Rhymos aka Aaron Binstead, is steadily constructing an exciting profile amongst a new class of UK talent. His authentic productions and sophisticated DJ performances have received extended support from some of the world's most renowned artists including Maya Jane Coles, Luciano, Richie Hawtin, Kerri Chandler, Tuccillo, Hanfry Martinez, tINI, Huxley, Laura Jones, Joris Voorn & Enzo Siragusa. Rhymos strikes a chord somewhere between the grittiness of acid house and the hypnotic, evocative grooves of deep Detroit Techno, which has seen him release through prestigious labels such as Catwash (DJ W!ld), Murmur (Geddes), Overall (Hanfry Martinez & Javier Carballo) & R U M O R S (Guy Gerber). DJ Mag described his 2015 EP ‘Woo’(Overall) as a “Refined combination coiled into one unparalleled masterpiece,'' and subsequently awarded an impressive 7/10. Holding close friendships with some of techno's top producers such as Alan Fitzpatrick and Reset Robot, it was evidently clear that Rhymos had the potential and to follow in their footsteps. His track ‘Grey Table’ (R U M O R S), was a huge success and reached the top 40 of the Beatport Tech-House chart. In 2014, Rhymos started ‘Whistleblower Records’ alongside Reset Robot & Alan Fitzpatrick, and has already released music in 2015 which has reached the dizzy heights of Beatport Techno top 10. Aside from from producing, you will regularly find Rhymos entertaining some of the world's biggest dancefloors, such as Watergate (Berlin), Origami (Tokyo), Exit Festival (Serbia), Junk (UK) and Circo Loco (Ibiza). This has seen him playing alongside the likes of Seth Troxler, Steve Bug, Tale of Us, Art Department and The Martinez Brothers. 2016 is set to be a huge year for Rhymos, with new releases on Turquoise Blue, Whistleblower & Alan Fitzpatrick’s ESD which includes remix from Steve O’ Sullivan.
