Glasgow's sonic alchemist Rustie crafts hyperactive club euphoria from the unlikeliest sources--hyphy hip-hop collides with trance, grime meshes with shoegaze, all spiked with speaker-mangling bass. He speaks through pure emotion rather than words, building his own "green language" that bypasses the mind and hits straight to the heart. Egoless yet innovative, he refuses genre loyalty, instead chasing the raw joy he felt in trance raves while weaving in everything from sci-fi games to prog rock into breathless dancefloor detonators.
