As an electronic music pioneer in his homeland, Sare Havlicek co-defined Slovenian techno and house sound that is still evolving through the work of artists such as Umek and Valentino Kanzyani. Next to cultivating European underground scene as Anna Lies, Moob, Freeze and Sare Muratore, he became a sought after remixer in the mid 90s, being trusted with production and remix jobs for various pop, dance and alternative artists, including Kraftwerk the founding fathers of electronic music, film director John Carpenter, disco legends Space, superstar band Queen and many others. Nowadays contemporary disco is his main domain. Havlicek collaborated with many well known names such as Bottin, Ilija Rudman, Stevie Kotey, Max Essa and others. His tracks are bumping world’s most recognized floors, being played by some of greatest DJs, such as Dimitri from Paris and The Magician. His album Toscana Nights (2010) along with many of his remixes has been well critically acclaimed and has also gained a very good response from DJs and fans.
