Smolny

Smolny was born in Lodz, in an industrial city in the center of Poland. He was involved with the music scene for over 20 years. At the beginning in the nineties he was fascinated with old school rave and drum’n’bass. In the following years he started to buy vinyls and collaborate with record shop Skylark Records. All this things quickly resulted in a residency of iconic club Soda Bar, OIOM and DOM Club. After a few good years of releases on labels such as the Catz’n’Dogz founded PETS or unforgettable hit ‘Turnaround' made it together with SLG for Play It Down, Smolny has started in 2019 his own imprint called Bourassa Records. Is an electronic independent record label focused on promoting local new artists and their music that was in underground for a long time. Smolny's first single - 'Explain EP' will be released in October 2019 and it opens the Bourassa's story.
