Stephanie Mills

Stephanie Mills is an American Rhythm & Blues, Soul, Disco and Gospel singer and songwriter, born on March 22, 1957, in Brooklyn, New York, U.S. Mills began her career in 1966, when she received a role in the Broadway play Maggy Flynn. In 1973, Mills signed at [l=Paramount Records] by [a=Michael Barbiero], releasing her first single. Her role as Dorothy in "The Wiz" made her a star.
