Sven Väth (born October 26, 1964, Obertshausen, Germany) is a legendary DJ/producer and techno pioneer. Starting at Frankfurt's Dorian Gray club at 18, he co-founded influential labels Eye Q Records, Harthouse, and Cocoon Recordings. He launched the iconic OMEN and Cocoon clubs, with his Cocoon Ibiza residency at Amnesia becoming one of clubbing's greatest successes since 1999. Known for vinyl-only marathon sets, he's considered Germany's #1 DJ for decades.
