The Maytals

Jamaican Ska & Reggae vocal trio formed by [a386831], [a1509081] & [a1186546] in 1961 as [a595385] and made their first recordings in 1962 for coxsone Dodd. They later changed their name to [a116679] then finally to [a81139] (some sources say from a [a=Byron Lee]'s idea following the death of producer [a=Leslie Kong] but it seems to have been used on some 1960s releases like [m=406027] or [m=666607]).
