Tony Guerra

Tony Guerra was born in Caracas, Venezuela. Since he was a child, Music has been a staple in his life – His father was a music band promoter in the 80’s & 90’s, a percussionist brother who also was founder of many Folk Bands and Bladimir, professional DJ in the 90’s and today - a musical legacy that was always present in his childhood. In adolescence, he began being influenced more in electronic culture, based on DJS / Producers such as Ricardo Villalobos, Victor Calderone, Luciano, Dubfire, Mark Farina, Sandy Rivera, Dennis Ferrer, Eric Prydz and many others. In 2006, Tony begins to experiment with warmer sounds outside electronic music, working in small clubs and halls, DJing all kind of music, but it was not simply DJing, his creativity and fusion knowledge was a compelling show live that went beyond expectations. Thus, in 2007 he decided to bet on his own talent by participating in the Reality Electronic Music Radial Show “DJ Project” broadcasted on Hot 94 FM Caracas conducted by “DD Domingo", 2006 & 2007 DJ Of The Year (2006 Caracas Best House Music DJ) - where Tony got 2nd. place. Seemingly good bet, Tony become more involved into the whole Electronica Caracas’s scene in which he meets one of “Pitch Control”´s DJ School founder; DJ Milton (2006 Best New Talent & Best 2007 House Music DJ) - who serves as a perfect platform for Tony – DJ Milton has helped Tony a lot in the evolution of the whole live show experience and influences him in new House & Afro-Caribbean Music trends. In 2008, Tony and his friends created "The Deep Party" Crew which is quickly positioned in the underground scene from Caracas. This way, Tony begins his search in Music Production instructed by Mario Romero (Producer EC Records, Elite Records, Xela Digital etc...) and quickly begins the creation of his own discography achieving rapid results. Tony Guerra in a lifetime story filled with electronic music makes his debut in the Swedish Label "FAT LINE MUSIC” ©, and Colombia Label “ROAD TRIP RECORDINGS” ©, and in parallel, interviews and live sets over the Venezuelan radio stations though different radio programs like - Alba Sesión Electrónica, GuatequeXpress, FusibleFM (Venezuela), Radio4by4.com (Canada) y Radio21web (Argentina), participating in the emerging electronic music scene in Venezuela - did not take long for him to become a highly recognized and respected DJ in Latin America. This year on, Tony has a hard work year ahead of national and international performances and musical study hours to present his musical productions. Just as motivation and the results can be heard in some of the major labels and clubs today
