On the strength of their recent remix work TORRO TORRO (Toronto’s YO EV & Mikey Digits) are preparing the release of their brand new single Knockin’ Boots (original production). The new single will stay true to their roots of driving house, hard hitting sounds and creative arrangements. Keep an eye out for Knockin’ Boots as it will be available this summer. Whether it was their remix of Barletta’s Panther, or their remix of AutoErotique’s Gladiator, it’s safe to assume you’ve heard one of their tunes in a mix, or smashing a dance-floor. Everywhere they play- at home or in a new city- they always bring the same high intensity big room sound and keep the crowd asking for more. Torro Torro can currently be found headlining Saturday nights in Toronto at Wrongbar and/or The Social. They often make the trip from Toronto to Montreal and were featured recently at Montréal’s University All-Star Weekend and The Bloody Beetroots Halloween party at the Telus Theater. Between the two of them they have countless hours of experience in the studio and the club with solo and side projects not to mention 5+ years of FM broadcasting in Toronto and song features on networks such as MTV. The two have been spending a lot of time in their studio preparing their upcoming releases. Expect to hear a lot from Torro Torro as we head into 2011.
