London’s genre-defying tastemaker T.Williams continues to shape the future of electronic music with a landmark 2024. His highly anticipated debut album, Raves of Future Past, released on Purple City Records, has set a new standard in the underground music scene, with its sold-out vinyl and merchandise flying off shelves worldwide. Taking his music directly to the fans, T.Williams embarked on a three-month vinyl store tour across the UK and North America, performing in iconic spaces such as Phonica Records, Jumbi, Planet Wax, and Nothing Ventured. His versatility as a producer reached new heights this year with a co-production credit on Becky Hill’s hit track Back Around, featured on her chart-topping album Believe Me Now?, which peaked at No.3 on the UK Albums Chart and claimed the No.1 spot on the UK Dance Charts. A trailblazer unbound by genre, T.Williams was featured in DJ Mag’s March print edition, with an in-depth interview titled Breaking The Rules. His sets and productions this year have been a testament to his refusal to be boxed into any single style. The summer of 2024 saw him light up festival stages with standout performances at Boardmasters, Defected Croatia, and All Points East, where he delivered a memorable back-to-back set with collaborator Tailor Jae on Jamz Supernova’s BBC 6 Music stage. Collaborations remained a key theme in 2024, with T.Williams and Tailor Jae releasing their first joint EP, Bruk Out, on DJ Haus’s Unknown To The Unknown Records. Looking ahead to 2025, T.Williams has projects lined up with Dam Swindle’s Heist Records, Local Talk, and a collaborative album with Sio on Defected Records' subsidiary, Stay True Sounds. His 2024 EP Emotions, released on Melvo Baptiste’s The Remedy Project, has already garnered over 1 million Spotify streams, with tracks featured on curated playlists like Soulful House, Deep House Sessions, and Rave Factory. Acclaimed DJs such as Benji B, Jamz Supernova, Martha, Sherelle, Sian Anderson and Gilles Peterson have championed his tracks across platforms like BBC Radio 1, NTS, and Rinse FM. With a relentless drive for innovation and boundary-pushing creativity, T.Williams continues to lead from the front. As he gears up for even bigger projects in 2025, his trajectory as a transformative force in music shows no signs of slowing down.
