YDVST

Haunting and enigmatic, YDVST is a Spanish producer, artist, and art director. Initially, he mostly produced downtempo and ambient music, but he has surfaced in latest years producing trance and hip-hop records as well. He was a key role on the [l594392] net-label, releasing his debut EP, and his second EP, [r7200620]. Since then, YDVST has released various projects independently, getting good recognition for his first self-released record [r12107596], which gave him the opportunity to play at the Sonar Festival 2018 in Barcelona. In 2024, he released his first LP [r31890601] under the imprint [l681130]. It is his most personal, deep and atmospheric project to date. In his own words: [i]my music is just a reflection of the bizarre and otherworldly nature of existence. I do believe we need to experiment to feel we're alive. From a relativism perspective of what it means to exist, to a more abstract and posthumanistic vision of our reality…I want to explore what's in there and go deeper.[/i]
