Original DJ for Digable Planets, he's collaborated with De La Soul, Saul Williams, Solange, and Tyshawn Sorey. A Pew Fellowship recipient, he's performed globally at venues like Berghain and MoMA PS1. Founded The Buddy System Project (2014) and KingBrittArchives label. Currently teaches "Blacktronika" at UCSD, a leading authority on Afrofuturism in music.
