Marcel Dettmann

Marcel Dettmann (b. Oct 26, 1977, Pössneck, GDR) is a Berlin-based techno DJ and producer. DJing since 1994, he's been a Berghain resident since 2004 (previously at OstGut from 1999). Influenced by new wave, post-punk, and industrial music, he runs labels Marcel Dettmann Records and Bad Manners Records. His productions blend contemporary techno with pre-techno elements, creating a reduced, rough, yet emotional sound for Ostgut Ton, fabric, and other labels.
