Modeselektor

Modeselektor is a Berlin electronic duo of Gernot Bronsert and Sebastian Szary who met in 1992 and began performing together in 1996. Emerging from post-Wall Berlin's underground scene, they signed to BPitch Control in 2001. Their boundary-breaking sound fuses techno, dubstep, grime, and hip-hop. Albums include Hello Mom! (2005), Happy Birthday! (2007), and Monkeytown (2011). They collaborate as Moderat with Apparat and founded Monkeytown Records in 2009.
